If you want to install and use the Jorte Calendar app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:
Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac
Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App >> . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac
Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.
Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 / 11
Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Jorte Calendar in the search bar and press Search. Click on Jorte Calendarapplication icon. A window of Jorte Calendar on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.
Step 4: for Mac OS

I did love this calendar

I've had this calendar for 6 years and about 4 phones. So over these years I have bought a lot of icons, which I used on a daily basis. (I live through this calendar) I recently switched to an iPhone and had no idea I couldn't restore my purchases. So I have been back and forth with people from Jourte about just refunding and I'll repurchase on my new phone. But since the purchases have been over a span of 6 years they won't do it. And won't really give me a reason why. They just say they can't. 🤨 I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of reasoning with these people. I love this calendar, mainly because of the icons. Once I find another calendar that I can sync, I'm switching.

So the app has been updated and is back to running like it did in the past. My calendar now syncs with my online account better and events will delete when I delete them. Loving the ability to set my own personal background from my photo album and of course have always loved being able to set my own color schemes.

Calendar bug fixes needed

Jorte is randomly adding my events in other calendars. I have 5 calendars due to a busy lifestyle to keep the family organized. I'll create an event in calendar A, and Jorte is creating a duplicate in Calendar B. Now Jorte isn't allowing me to delete the duplicate event in the calendar that Jorte created on its own. Very frustrating! I've used this calendar for years, literally, but these bugs in the program are making it difficult to use. These duplicates are not present in my Google calendar, it is a Jorte issue. Please fix this. I've emailed customer support several times now without resolution.

Use it for daily planning and glitches have been mostly fixed quickly

I previously stated that this app which I use often suddenly kept crashing. Problem seems to have been resolved. Very good daily planning/calendar app. Not sure about the comment regarding data collection and since I don't have iwatch or components that give health data that doesn't seem to apply to me.
